Job Description:

Research Associates
contribute as independent authors. The position demands possession of and
experience in ability to analyze, articulate and present intelligently on
issues concerning the performance of the related field.
·
S/he would have to lead
amongst others, in producing monthly economic update, national budget
analysis, analysis on the five years plans and other strategic documents
relating to development, produced by government, development partners. S/he
would contribute in advancing the programmes of the Economic Policy Unit.
·
S/he must have demonstrated
capability in negotiating with the partners and sponsors, and managing
contracts.
·
Besides conducting research
s/he will be involved in identifying new opportunities for research, writing
proposals, and funding bids for the organization.
Educational Requirements
·
The candidate must have
Masters degree in Economics with at least three first class/CGPA 3.50 from
an internationally reputed university.
Experience
·
3 to 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements
·
In case of specialized job
experience, publication in recognized journals, foreign master degree will
be relaxed.
·
The candidates must have
peer reviewed publications and sound knowledge in quantitative techniques.
·
Must have sound knowledge in
quantitative skills, analytical abilities, report writing excellent drafting
skills in English, strong communication skill, high computer literacy are
required.
·
The candidate should be
willing to work under pressure in a high competitive environment.
Salary
The
estimated salary per annum for Research Associate is TK. 3,22,400
with other admissible benefits
and is
subject to negotiation for the deserving candidate.
